Janie received her A.B. from Dartmouth College, and her Ph.D. from Yale University studying protein folding in Lynne Regan’s laboratory in the department of MB&B. Since postdoctoral research at The Institute for Genomic Research, she has been working at New Haven area biotech companies until she joined the Center in February, 2006.

Michael Salcius

Mike received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1998, and his M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Quinnipiac in 2005. He started his career at a small startup in Worcester working on protein purification before joining Protometrix (now owned by Invitrogen) in the protein array R&D group in 2002. Mike started with the Chemical Genomics Screening Facility in September of 2006.

Jay Schneekloth, Ph.D.

Jay received his A.B. from Dartmouth College, and his Ph.D. from Yale University in Craig Crews's laboratory in the department of Chemistry. He went on to do postdoctoral research at Princeton University with Erik Sorensen. Jay joined the Center in January, 2009 as the first medicinal chemist.

Laura Abriola

Laura received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Connecticut and her M.S. in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Rutgers University. She has worked in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies centered on the use of cell-based systems to identify active small molecules. Laura joined the Center in May, 2009.
